Training

Training

CFR testing is very complex, and the skills involved cannot be achieved by reading the ASTM manual alone. It requires a good theoretical knowledge of the test method but also practical experience only gained by formal one-to-one training. Training is a key part to a successfully run CFR operation and should not be overlooked.

Apart from a very high standard of hands-on training we can provide, all participants receive comprehensive CFR training manual reinforcing key points from the course and generic Standard Operating Procedures.

Our Training Manual offers a long-term point of reference for use in conjunction with the appropriate American Society for Testing and Materials manual.

We offer structured training courses either in-house or off site, covering Research & Motor Octane, Supercharger and Cetane engines. Courses range from 5 to 10 days and are divided into two categories;

Operational

Equipe CFR operators with the knowledge and hands on experience for him/her to operate CFR equipment correctly and proficiently.

Basic Maintenance

Gain skills and knowledge to carry out daily and routine engine maintenance mandatory to ensure engines conform to the test method.

Refresher

We also offer refresher courses that may apply to previously trained operatives that have had a significant time gap in operating CFR equipment.

Certification

All participants who successfully complete any of our training courses will receive a training certificate, supporting their career progression and providing a formal record for quality assurance purposes.
